We invite students to read, discuss and enjoy Black writers, give critical responses and produce original works.

Programme Content
Students produce a short piece of poetry, prose or script writing.
Programme Timeline: April - July 2022
Students will explore texts from three different time periods, in three different styles. During the programme students will have the chance to attend tutorial sessions at Oxford University.
A range of prizes are available from essay publication to a place on the OxNet summer school.

Eligibility
Students must be:
1. In year 12 when applying for the programme
2. Black state-school students
Programme Structure
Programmes take place in four key phases, starting with lectures on module content and culminating in the submission of creative writing pieces in a specific style.
